Bristol Bay Housing Authority (BBHA) serves 31 communities across the Bristol Bay region. Since 1974, BBHA has focused on reducing substandard housing and increasing access to safe, affordable, and energy-efficient homes for Tribal members. Our work includes rental housing, homeownership support, weatherization services, and programs delivered in partnership with tribes throughout the region.
What We Do
BBHA carries out a range of programs that support housing access, community partnerships, and long-term property upkeep across the region. Each program focuses on practical services that help residents secure, maintain, or improve their homes.
Homeowner Maintenance
Assists residents with the steps, plans, & upkeep in homeownership.
Tribal Support Services
Provides program administration, reporting, and technical guidance.
Our Mission
Bristol Bay Housing Authority’s mission is to eliminate substandard housing conditions by developing local capacity to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities for the Native population of Bristol Bay.
